With their Tube Cone Heads, Hareline gives you just what you’re looking for whenever you need to add some weight and/or color to your tube flies. These Cone Heads are made from brass and are nice and durable; they also come in a range of different colors and sizes to allow you to adapt them to any pattern you’re looking for. These heads are a great addition to those who fish flies for steelhead and salmon, but they can also be worked into patterns for just about any salt or freshwater species that you’re after.  

 

Uses

Hareline’s Tube Cone Heads are used whenever you want to add some weight to the front of your tube flies or add a little bit of color. These cones work very well for various streamer patterns and are sure to help you get deeper in the water column. 

 

Comparisons 

While Cone Heads have been used in flies for decades, there aren’t nearly as many options out there for cones that work with tube flies. One other comparable alternative is HMH’s Coneheads for Tube Flies. These cones are a very similar item, but they aren’t available in the bright colors that Hareline makes their Tube Cone Heads in, so unless you’re looking for black or brass cones, Hareline’s Tube Cone Heads are the better choice.
